2 Crafty Chipboard - 'Beauty'

Hello there!

Today I share with you with my second part of my August 2 Crafty Chipboard inspiration 

This time a girly page featuring my gorgeous girl!!

2 Crafty chipboard pieces used:

Meghan's border (2018 March mini release)

Mini Word set 1 - beauty

Wings set 2

Interlocking stick panel

For the Mini Word - beauty - I gave it a few of coats of gesso...

With the Meghan's border I decided to cut up this into smaller strips.....

 Then I had given each piece 2/3 coats of gesso and then placed 1 strip underneath my photo & a piece at either side of page.... 

Here you can see the Meghan's border strip peeking out from the flower cluster that is sitting on the left side of my page.....

Wanted to create a more interesting background so I went with the Interlocking stick panel...

Cutting 1 of the panels into half a dozen smaller pieces, inking with black and adhering these smaller pieces throughout my page....

Lastly!  I have added 1 of the gorgeous wing sets....

Started by using a sponge and rubbing ever so lightly a coat of gesso, this way I don't loose any of the detail to the wings.... Then colouring the wings with Tim Holtz - Distress crayon -'Spun Sugar' (a pale pink) adhering 1 wing either side of my photo!!

Anna's Craft Cupboard - 49 & Market 'Sweet Reflections' part 4

Hello everyone!
 Here to share my final layout as part of my August DT work for Anna's Craft Cupboard using the gorgeous 49 & Market - 'Sweet Reflections' 

'Sweetest Memories'

Started with the Sweet Reflections 'Reflections' paper which I was drawn to the pretty branch & cherry blossom flowers, then I started on my background work, did a little stenciling, stamping & added some colour....

        

Next cut out a couple of circles from then Sweet Reflection 'Pause paper' added a few 49 & Market flowers & a few of the Sweet Reflections Lazer cuts pieces....

Finishing touches were adding some gorgeous Prima - Granite Mica flakes & the Sweet Memories strip!

 I seriously loved working with the 49 & Market 'Sweet Reflections' collection & the Sweet Reflection lazer cut pieces, honestly they are just fantastic & made it so quick & easy to create a page with thinking to much, which sometimes a good thing...

Anna's Craft Cupboard - 49 & Market 'Sweet Reflections' part 3

Hi there! I'm back to share with my 3rd layout  for Anna's Craft Cupboard working with the 49 & Market - 'Sweet Reflections' 

I am loving all soft pastel colours in this collection and when I seen the gorgeous ‘Singing the blues’  page I knew I just had to use it as my base….. I went a with B&W photo, which is of hubster & myself! it is SO hard to get my hubby just to look at the camera & smile lol!!!!!! I was pretty happy with this 1 that my mum take of us even though he not looking at the camera you can see a smile, which I’m happy with  that…

‘Remember’

Worked on my background first & some stamping to it…. Once again with using a few lazer cut pieces – the cute envelope, the heart shaped lock & key, the blue flowers, the gorgeous purple,blue butterfly, the beautiful green leaf foliage and the word Remember with the sweet little butterfly at the end it started to come along nicely…

Also incorporated a piece of twine and 49 & markets flowers once again using some of the newly released Stargazers – Sky Blue

I have also added a few 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces as well….

Then finishing it with lots of white splatters……

Anna's Craft Cupboard - 49 & Market - Sweet Reflections part 2

Hello there! I'm back with you...

sharing my 2nd layout using the beautiful 49 & Markets - Sweet Reflections Collection

As part of my August DT work for Anna's Craft Cupboard

'Treasure'

This layout came together quite quickly.. starting with the reverse side of the 'Reminiscence' for my base piece...  with that lovely flower images and dusty pink colour paper was perfect... adding some stamping again using 49 & Markets - Pascale's Formula Stamp with grey ink, adding a just a little some more colour using the Tim Holtz - Distress 'Fossilized amber' & 'Picked Raspberry' Oxides...

     

next adding a couple of paper layers from left over bits from the fussy cutting and adding under my photo & attaching it, I also have used a Kaisercraft - Doily die which sadly it no longer available. Then using a couple of the Sweet Reflections - lazer cut flowers, the gorgeous lavender bag & the pretty yellow butterfly all from the fantastic pieces...

My Title - 'Treasure' 2 Crafty Chipbaord inked grey...

next I've added a few 49 & Market flowers including the newly released Stargazer - 'Lemon Drop 

Finishing off with Prima - Sliver Micro beads, larger black beads from a discount store & spatters of black & grey...

'Spunky' layout for 2 Crafty Chipboard

Hello Everyone!

I'm back this time to share my newest layout for 2 Crafty Chipboard part of my August DT work.... A grungy/vintage style boy's page featuring my spunky nephew, using some fantastic 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces...

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

Spunky title

Funky Arrow

Domino tiles

Mini hot air balloons

ATC - arrows

For the word Spunky I first gave it a coat of white Acrylic paint, then inking the
  bottom half of the word with brown...   I was so happy on how it turn out! 

For the Domino tiles, I have inked them with Tim Holtz - Faded Jeans Distress Oxide.

 The couple of ATC - Arrows I've used I have inked with a black...

 Also! inked with a black is this REALLY COOL arrow, one of my
 favourite arrows from the Funky Arrows pack...

With these super cute mini hot air balloons  I decided to use one of each.
I started with giving them a coat of white acrylic paint & felt like they just weren't standing
 out enough for my liking, anyway I then painted them with two different shades of blue... 

Finishing the layout off with splatters of blue, orange & black.....

Anna's Craft Cupboard - 49 & Market - Sweet Reflections

Hi There! 

This month as part of my August DT work for Anna's Craft Cupobard  I got to play with ever so BEAUTIFUL 49 & Markets - Sweet Reflections ..... let me start off by saying what's not to love about this Collection!!!! 💙💜💗colours in the 'Sweet Reflections' are just divine... 

and today I share my first layout....

'Always'

Start off with  using the Sweet Reflections - ' Observation' paper as my base piece, I worked on my background by added a bit of colour using yellow ink, added some stamping with a blue & black inks using 49 & Markets - Pascale's Formula Stamp.. then a bit of fussy cutting out the branch image from the Sweet Reflections 'Crossroads' and before adhering this I glued down a layer of Cheesecloth....   

                

Next adding some 49 & Markets flowers & leaves including the newly released Stargazers - Sky Blue

    

I am a big fan of fussy cutting & I do enjoy it... BUT! I had the chance to use  Sweet Relfections Lazer cut pieces   sheet & made it SO much easier to whip up a beautiful page... I have used a few of those lazer cut shapes including the Always word, the heart shape lock & a key.... 

AND how super CUTE is yellow bird!!! with the my final touch some splattering using some gesso watered down just little to finish my page off nicely....
