2 Crafty Chipboard - 'This is US' layout

Hello There!

Today! Sharing a layout I created as part of my July DT work for 2 Crafty Chipboard....

This layout featuring, my family & capturing silly moment, 

which is quite regular for our family.... lol!

2 Crafty Chipboard used:

6" funky line panel

2016

 'Treasure' Fine word set 1

I starting with creating my mixed media background,

 then added a couple of  paper layers and my black & white photo...

Next adding a POP of colour by cutting the 6" funky line panel into 

smaller pieces, inking these pieces with some nice bright colors 

& placing these randomly thoughout my page...

Both the 2016 & the Fine word 'Treasure' from set 1 

have been inked with black...

AND my title This is US I have given it 3 thick coats of gesso!!

I am really happy with how this page turned out!

2 Crafty Chipboard - 'My Gorgeous Nephew' layout

Hello There!!

 Today i'm sharing this layout I created as part of 

July 2019 DT work for 2 Crafty Chipboard inspired 

by the 2 Crafty Chipboard title 

My Gorgeous Nephew

I am pretty lucky I have 7 gorgeous nephews, 

featuring is just one of those nephews.... 

I just love how this photo captures those beautiful blue eyes he has...

Assort chain borders

Small film strip

ATC - Tiny Stars  

Once I had created my mixed media background, 

I then used the leftover/negative pieces from Adian's arrow, 

painted this with gesso & attaching this just to give another level of contrast....

Using only 1 strip from the Assort chain borders cutting into 

 2 small strips inking with black & adhering them against the white...

Also! Inked with black the title My Gorgeous Nephew

I cut into 2 lengths a Small film strip colouring both 

pieces with Tim Holtz - Distress Crayons

 to coordinate nicely with the two toned background paper....

Painted a couple of coats of gesso to the 2018 

Did the same treatment as the I did to the film strip

 to the ATC - Tiny Stars, adding teal colour to some & green to others...
