2 Crafty Chipboard - '#ADORE' layout

Hi there!

Today sharing a layout I recently created as part of my October DT work for 2 Crafty Chipboard using some their gorgeous Chipboard pieces... This layout featuring my gorgeous girl!!!

'#ADORE'

2 Crafty Chipboard used: 

Soft Feather 

4" Mandala No 3.

Indian feathers

ATC - hearts (from ATC Hearts & Stars pack)

Dream Catcher

#ADORE from Mini # word set 1

I started off with treating all chipboard pieces with a coat of gesso.....

Next: I cut the beautiful 4" Mandala No 3. in half and before placing a piece either side

 of my photo I randomly added some blue using a Tim holtz Distress Crayon! Doing the

 same with the Large Soft Feather and the 3 Indian feathers just adding a bit more colour

 to these....

Don't they look really PRETTY!!

Next: Adding a another coat of gesso to the few ATC - hearts before attaching them....

Also! adding another coat of gesso to the Dream Catcher once dried & with my finger 

rubbing some colour onto the catcher using Time Hotlz - Distress Oxide 'Seedless preserves'.

Next: Inking the chipboard piece #ADORE with Versa Colour - Violet ink & adhering
 onto my B& W photo... I was really HAPPY with how this looked sitting on the photo!!

Finishing off by adding an assortment of  flowers, a couple some fussy
 cut out ones as well as a couple of purple flowers just to bring it altogether nicely.

Anna's Craft Cupboard - 13 Arts Aqua Flora 'Live Love Life" layout

Hello there! 
Back once again to share my 4th & final project as part of my October DT work for Anna's Craft Cupboard using the STUNNING....

13 Arts - Aqua Flora Collection..

If you have seen any of my previous posts I'm sure you are aware by now just how much I have adored this collection...  for my 4th project I have created another layout.... a boys layout featuring my teenage son!!

'Live Love Life' 

 Aqua Flora Collection is SO versatile & just as quick and easy to create a real awesome boys page...   for my base/ background page I've used the Shade of black paper,  added some stamping using Kaisercraft - numbers stamp, next added some flickers of paint...

Creating paper layers using Aqua Flora - 6x6 paper pad and A4 elements... and finishing off with added a few chipboard stars inking them blue & purple to continue with the colour scheme...

I have really REALLY enjoyed working with this Collection, one of my ALL time favourite collections and I hope you have been inspired in some way! This stunning collection is in store ------> HERE

Anna's Craft Cupboard October DT work using 13Arts - Art Journaling

Hello there!
I'm back once again sharing more some more projects that I have created using the SUPER GORGEOUS....13 Arts - Aqua Flora Collection.. As part of my October DT work for Anna's Craft Cupboard

Inspired by the Aqua Floral - A5 sheet - transparent words stickers mostly Art Journal sticker I went with some thing different and did some art journaling, I tend to do double pages when art Journaling ... I have a Kaisercraft A4 Kraft - Art Journal with plenty of blank pages waiting to for me....   I love this creative side of crafting, I seem to go though phases where I will do a few pages & then stop for a while.... So! I was pretty happy when I did this page and hoping to do more some time soon...

YEP! couldn't resist the DIY flowers & once again have added a couple AND I've even used some the left over pieces of paper from creating DIY flowers as paper layers....  AWESOME hey!   If interested in on how I made these gorgeous flowers?? Oh I feeling of some you are thinking.... Ummmm! Rach I think you may have missed adding the flower centre to this flower??? And the answer is NOPE  I didn't.... I just felt that it just didn't need one, that's the best part about creating there is NO right or wrong its what ever you feel works and I felt it worked better with out one ...

SO! Are you feeling it at all inspired ??? I do hope SO! I do have one more layout using this stunning collection to share & will be back real soon to share..

Anna's Craft Cupboard - 13 Arts Aqua Flora Part 2 'Together' layout

Hello There! 
I'm back to share another layout I have created as part of  my October DT work for Anna's Craft Cupboard using the SUPER GORGEOUS   13 Arts - Aqua Flora Collection.....

I may be repeating myself but I do adore this collection a lot ... And I feel that you can see that with the projects I have created with this collection... For my second layout featuring my FAVOURITE people in the whole world ~ my family! I guess I could even say I was inspired by my first layout 'Create' when creating this page... Using quite a few of the same elements. 

'Together'

Having that teal watercolour image on the Aqua Floral -  'Countless Love' was the best starting point, then adding some stamping & stencilling my background was done! nice & quick! Next: a couple of paper layers underneath my photo then fussy cutting the floral images from the 'Colour of Summer' paper and layering them some with foam tape for dimension, then added a couple of the Aqua Flora transparent word stickers from the A5 sheet...

Together fussy cut from the Aqua Floral A4 element sheet...

Also! added 3 DIY flowers using the Kaisercraft - DIY Flora Peony Die and Aqua Flora 6x6 paper... AGAIN! please see my previous post where you can view a video tutorial on how I went about creating these gorgeous flowers... ------> HERE

And a few Green Tara - Mimosas 'Bright blue' flowers & leaves just to finish things of nicely!!! I do have more to share so be sure to stop again soon......

October design team work for Anna's Craft Cupboard -13 Arts - Aqua Floral 'Create' layout 1

Hello There! 
This week I will be sharing some projects I created with the AMAZING....

13 Arts - Aqua Flora Collection.. 
As part of my October DT work for Anna's Craft Cupboard

Been a mixed media fan this collection was right up my alley... I have to say I absolutely adored working with this collection....

My first layout featuring yep~ Me......

'Create'

One of the many COOL things about this collection is the funky designs, making it real easy to create with...

I thought that the numbers & floral print on the 'Blue Dreams' paper were a great background/base as a starting point, next adding some stamping, a bit of colour and then some of the Aqua Flora transparent word stickers from the A5 sheet... Then adding some layers under my photo, using  Aqua Flora - A4 Elements & 6x6 paper pad & Kaisercraft die...

fussy cut some of the leaves  from the 'Colours of Summer' and teamed it up with some of the gorgeous Green Tara - Mimosas Bright Blue 

I also decided to make a couple of flowers using Aqua Flora 6x6 paper pad &  Kaisercraft - DIY Flora Peony Die

2 Crafty Chipboard October DT work 'Life's a Journey ENJOY the ride 2018'

Hello there! 

Today I share with you all this grungy boy's layout I recently created as part of my October 2 Crafty Chipboard DT work....
 This page featuring my son and using some really great 2 Crafty chipboard pieces!

'Life's a Journey ENJOY the RIDE'

2 Crafty Chipboard Used: 

Steam punk arrow set

Domino Tiles

Square barber wire frame

Life's a Journey ENJOY the RIDE title

2018

Large gear

 With the title which I think was just perfect for this photo and inspired by colours of my
boy bike & his clothing, I have inked the Life's a ENJOY the with black, then inking the 
 Journey with red & RIDE with blue...

 Then to finalise my title I inked the 2018 with black and adhered... 

Wanting to draw focus to the photo and NOT overpower it, so I decided to use the larger
 Square barber wire frame, as a frame on my photo, leaving it untreated (raw)... 
Also! have peeking out on the bottom right side of photo is a Steam punk arrow, which
I had cut in half (keeping the other half for later on) and attached untreated/ raw.... 

Next I inked a Large gear with blue ink, cut in half  before adhering 
 each piece either side of the photo...

And finally! 

Placed throughout out my page are a few of the Domino Tiles, Which I have
cut into two pieces & give all a couple of coats of gesso...
