Glitz Design - Yours Truly

As mention in my last post

I've have 3 layouts to share... these are part of my November DT work for Anna's Craft Cupboard 

I have to admit I was a tad excited to be receiving this range as it is 1 my favorite ranges

 Glitz Design- Yours Truly

first up is this layout of Me & my Mummy...

This layout I created for my mum I have some journaling on the back of this layout...

she is always telling me Oh you look lovely today or that looks pretty!!

She is always giving me lovely comments.....

hence the the title....

Mum informed me that she loves the layout BUT! not the photo of her....

along with the GD Yours Truly  papers I have used some Giant Rhinestones , Whatnots &  Puffy word stickers....

 

 the mask I've used is a Prima - gate & CW - 6x6 chevron..... 

Also I've used a couple of the Collection - Paris butterflies

& I just had to add some Green Tara flowers- Gardenia & Cherry blossoms.... The 2 tone blue - Cherry blossoms work so well here I think!!!! 

next up is this layout of Chloee & my FIL!

 I  really liked the paper garlands & was Inspired to create my own with Ephemera paper & 2 different size heart punches....

I've also used some of the GD - Washi Tape in my background...

The Chevron stamp is from Casheme Dame stamps!!

fussy cut out the cute owl from a Your's Truly whatnot  & again I've added some more of those ever so GORGEOUS Green Tara 2 tone Blue - Cherry Blossoms & a peach

Glitz Design - Step by step...

Im' back yet again to share & just incase you missed it when posted over on Anna's Craft Cupboard blog...

 My Step by step that I created as part of  my DT work for Anna's Craft Cupboard

my 3rd range I got to play with this month was the Gorgeous  Glitz Design - Yours Truly range ♥..

Step by step with Glitz Design Yours Truly - by Rachael Funnell

Materials:

·         Glitz Design Yours Truly-Polka paper

·         Glitz Design Yours Truly-Chevron paper

·         Glitz Design Yours Truly-Ephemera paper

·         Glitz Design Yours Truly-Giant Rhinestones

·         Glitz Design Yours Truly-Whatnots

·         Glitz Design Yours Truly-Tape

·         Glitz Design Teeny Alpha – Navy

·         Prima-Soubrettee flowers

·         Brads (the 1’s that Anna gives to you when placing an order)

·         WoW ACC Mini word-Sisters

·         Also need & not shown is black ink & Yellow ink

For you Background:

·         Kaiser craft – script stamp

·         Glimmer mist – black

·         Chalkboard – Lime green

Step 1. Creating the background

Tear 4 28cm strips of Yours Truly tape & attach to white cardstock about 1cm from the edges.   Starting from  the top left, stamp with KC script, working you way down & across to the right bottom.  Spray once into glimmer mist lid & drip your first drop ¼ down & to the right side onto white cardstock, Spray again into lid & drip the second drip centre ¾ down. Cut a few strips from Yours Truly-Ephemera pp making sure you cut the I love the best strip from pp, Ink the edges black & attach with foam squares except the I love the best strip set it aside.

Step 2.

Fussy cut out the elephant with balloon & 1 cloud from Yours Truly-Polka pp & ink edges then set these aside. Cut a 16cmx14.3cm rectangle from Yours Truly-Polka pp using the same side from where you just cut balloon & elephant from. Also need a14.5cmX17cm rectangle from the reverse Yours Truly-Polka pp, cut the pattern on the right side & a 14.2cmx 11cm rectangle from Yours Truly-Chevron pp & from your Yours Truly Giant rhinestone package in half (as shown).

Ink all edges in black. Then start with the 14.5cmx17cm rectangle in Yellow attach these with foam squares, next is the 16cmx14.3cm rectangle grey piece attach this with Foam squares. Then attach your packaging piece again with foam Squares & lastly add the red Chevron piece slightly on an angle.

Step 3.

Attach photo onto Chevron paper with foam Squares. From the Yours Truly-whatnot attach the frame with the chevron on the corners 7 attach this foam squares. Also from the whatnots fussy cut the 2 & you + me=us & attach (as shown).

Attach that I love the best strip.

Step 4.

Attach the Prima flowers, the elephant with cloud all with foam squares. Then attach the Yours Truly-Giant rhinestones

Step 5.

Cut off the s on the WOW chipboard Sisters & ink this with yellow. Add the brads and attach with foam tape, the letters from the GD – teeny alpha & then attach the Chipboard word sister.

Final Step.

I felt like it I wanted more to add more drips & splatters.... SO! I covered the photo & added a few more, this time in a lime green! Also some spatters of black
