2 Crafty Chipboard - 'Tis the season layout

 Hello there!  

Today I have another 2 Crafty Chipboard  -Christmas-themed layout to share

 and hopefully, inspire you in some way...

2 Crafty Chipboard used: 

2020 Christmas tree

ATC - Tiny hearts & stars

Xmas lights border

Oriental Alphabet

Scrabble tiles

Let's start with this fabulous 2020 Christmas tree 

where I have kept it quite simple, inking it with 

this lovely green, which looks great might I add...

Next up is the Xmas lights border..

I started by giving this a thick coat of gesso, then colored the lightbulbs with a nice fiery red.... 

I just love how this has turned out....

Then we have those Tiny Stars, I coloured  these with a burnt yellow color

and scattered them throughout my page...

Lastly, for my title....

2 Crafty has some GREAT Christmas titles, but I wanted to do something a little different 

and  it just so happens I was an S short  in the Scrabble tiles, therefore I used an S from 

Oriental Alphabet, Colouring the S with the same color as the stars and the Scrabble tiles

I have been given a light coat of gesso...

2 Crafty Chipboard - "#christmasjoy 2018" layout

 HELLO everyone!

Today sharing my newest creation for 2 Crafty Chipboard

 I've got into the Christmas spirit & have created a

 non-traditional, colored-themed layout using some FABULOUS chipboard...

Papers I've used are Uniquely Creative - Merry & Magical, Tranquility & Winter Rose...

2 Crafty Chipboard used: 

the medium size from 11" Holly Frame Set 

Mini hashtag Xmas

Holly leaves

Bauble Ornament set

2018

I started with giving these baubles a coat of gesso,

then randomly dabbing them with some inks...

The 2018 has been given two coats of gesso..

while I inked the #christmasjoy with black..

These hashtag words are always a great addition to any project i think...

I just love the Mini hashtag words...

Lastly for the Holly Frame, I gave it a thick coat of gesso

and once dried added some ink.... AND

For the Holly leaves, I gave them a light coat of gesso then added ink...

Giant gears

ATC - Tiny Stars & hearts

12" Assortment Chain border

12" Chian Lengths

I started with my background, I added a couple of the Giant gears 

to the base of my page covered these with a layer of gesso, 

then added some stenciling, then added another Giant gear this time leaving it raw...

Next  inked some of the small gears with black and added these.

I then had a few bits of both of the 12" Assortment Chain border & 12" Chian Lengths

left over in my stash & so I inked these randomly with a light blue....

 Also! randomly inking with the same light blue the 2019 ...

For the Tiny Stars I added 2 coats of gesso

 and lastly 6x4 Phrase stick set 5 'Treasure This Moment

Inking this black to finish off my page...

If you are a regular you would know that I am a big fan of adding the date 

to most of my layouts and with this layout the date is in fact my title... 

Inking the 2020 with silver ink & the October with burgundy...

The Roses are inked with a lovely dust pink and the 

Artdeco oval frame inked with the same burgundy color as the October...

I find just simply inking the chipboard  pieces is a simple

 but effective way to jazz up any project...

2 Crafty Chipboard - 'Beautiful Destinations' layout

 Hello Everyone!

Rachael with you sharing another 2 Crafty inspired project..

Today I have this beach-themed layout...

2 Crafty Chipboard used: 

seashells

seaweed set

6x4 Phrase set 1

Anchor buoy set

Let's start with this SUPER C.U.T.E Lil sea creator from the seashells pk ..

I have given it a light coat of gesso.... 

Next up for the Seaweed,  I have just randomly inked with a 

brown & a blue to give it that  two-toned look,

Lastly, for this chipboard cluster,

 I have some more of the two-toned colored seaweed, 

also inking the anchor with the same brown as used on the seaweed.

Then finishing off with the title from the 6x4 Phrase set 1

2 Crafty Chipboard - 'Captivating'

Hello & a warm welcome to my blog....

Today I have this fun girly layout that I created for 2 Crafty Chipboard

and include some of their FABULOUS  pieces.

2 Crafty Chipboard used:

Papers I have used are of course STUDIO 73 - Magical Dreams, A Ladies Day & Just say I do

'Captivating' works SO WELL with any style of layout

& here I have just simply given it two coats of gesso...

Also, add two coats of gesso to the 2018 

These beautiful floral pieces are so fine & delicate 

and I didn't want them to get lost in amongst the floral fussy cutting,

so what better way than to ink them black.. 

AND Don't they look GREAT!!

Lastly, for the set of Wings, I have one sitting either of the photo..

both were firstly given one light coat of gesso, then

inking the tips of the wings with a pink...

Today I have a layout  to share with you which I have created which features my nephew

 and includes some GREAT 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces...

Let's start with the Construction Set chipboard pieces

 which are fairly new...  I have inked those pieces with 

black & yellow before gluing them down..

Next for the Steampunk Element &

a couple of Steampunk Medium size gears

I have gone with inking these pieces sliver...

Lastly for the title....  I have added a nice

 a thick coat of gesso to the Live your...

& then inked the 'Adventure' with black ink...

2 Crafty Chipboard - "Simple Moments'

Today I share with you my newest layout I have created for 2 Crafty Chipboard

 

'Simple Moments'

2 Crafty Chipboard used:

ATC - Title Stick set 1

12" Parisian board

6" Parisian board mini

As usual for me, I have not done a lot of treatment to the chipboard I've used

but still, each piece still makes a statement on the page..

Starting with the 2021 where I've inked it with a similar color to

 the chipboard using Ranger - Distress Oxide - Frayed burlap

And with the Stick Title 'Simple Moments' Ranger - Distress Oxide - Peacock Feathers...

Next is the gorgeous Foilage from Set 9 & using the same colors 

first inking with Frayed burlap, then randomly inking with the Peacock Feathers

and then cutting into smaller pieces & gluing down throughout fussy cutting 

And don't it LOOK  AWESOME...

Lastly! But certainly not least is the Parisian boards, one in 6" & the other in 12" 

And I have left the raw.and glued to either side of the edge of my page.

2 Crafty Chipboard - 'Summer Story' layout

Hello there.... Trust all is wel!

 Today I share my newest layout created for 2 Crafty Chipboard

'Summer Story'

Papers used and still one of my all time favorite collections is from Studio 73 - Once Upon A Ocean

Along with Uniquely Creative - Lace roses &  Bubble beads 

2 Crafty Chipboard used:

Anchor Bouy Set

Palm Tree set

Fine Month words

ATC - Title stick set 4

2022

Starting with this little cluster of chipboard pieces from the Anchor Bouy Set

 inking the Anchor with a dark teal & the Bouy I inked with two colours, 

First with a grey & then ever so lightly with a light brown ink...

Then sitting on top is the title 'Summer Story' from the ATC - Title stick set 4

given the title stick two coats of gesso...

I love that you get 3 sizes from the Palm Tree set, I have gone with the medium size

& inked this with the same colors as the Anchor....

Completing my layout by adding the Month & Year chipboard pieces!
